The drive takes you away from the busy northern safari circuit and toward the spectacular landscapes around the Pare and Usambara mountain ranges.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Mkomazi National Park.
Mkomazi offers a quieter safari experience and is known for wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and a variety of bird species.

Spend the day exploring different areas of the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelope and other wildlife.
Mkomazi is also particularly important for conservation and is associated with efforts to protect endangered species such as the black rhinoceros and African wild dog.

DAY 3 – MKOMAZI → OSILIGILAI

This day introduces you to the cultural side of northern Tanzania.
Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Depending on arrival time, you can participate in a Maasai cultural experience, including learning about traditional Maasai life, livestock keeping, local traditions and the relationship between the community and its environment.
Enjoy the sunset and an authentic evening experience before dinner.
